Alpine is offering an opportunity for players to improve their skills over the summer. Every Saturday at Valley View starting July 11th, there will be two groups:
Group 1 - Grades 3-6 9-noon
Group 2 - Grades 7-8 1-4

Each session will include skills training led by Jeff and Richard and there will be court coaches to help the girls. The last hour of each session will be competition between teams. Teams will be limited to 8 girls and only 8 teams will be allowed.

Alpine Makes Strong Showing in Seattle

Alpine teams did well in Seatele with Aces and Falcons in the Gold playoffs and Avalanche and Avenge in the Bronze. There were three players from Alpine selected to the All-Torunament Team: Trenisha Doyle (Avenge), Shelby Hunt (Falcons) and Corynn Kopra (Aces) with Kassy Tuma and Maddy Gardner(Falcons) getting Honorable Mention

Alpine to send Teams to JDVAs in Kentucky

Alpine is excited to be sending teams to the Junior Volleyball Directors Association (JVDA) Championship in Louisville in late June. The JVDA was formed in late 2006 by a group of clubs that were concerned about the growth plans for the juniors division released by USAV that would have resulted in further increased costs for clubs pursuing a national championship.

Remember we promised more... well here it is - Paul Munoz has been just confirmed to assist Ryan at the Ryan Millar Skills Camp. This is HUGE ! Paul is the libero off the Men's USA National Team. and plays professionally in Europe. Don't miss this camp!

Alpine to bring Ryan Millar for Elite Camp

Alpine Volleyball is excited to announce that Ryan Millar, the starting middle blocker from the USA Gold Medal Men's Team will be coming to Portland to do a series of high level camps. Ryan will bring his experience as a player and coach and share those with players starting August 9th. Here is a list of those special skills camps:

Sunday Aug 9th - 6-8 pm Rex Putnam HS - DS's and Liberos
Monday Aug 10th - 6-8 pm Rex Putnam HS - Middle Hitters and Blockers
Tuesday Aug 11th - 6-8 pm Rex Putnam HS - Attacking
